EHA Supports the Second European Hydrogen Energy Conference taking place on November 22nd-25th in Zaragoza
The European Hydrogen Association (EHA) supports the European Hydrogen Energy Conference (EHEC 2005) that will take place on November 22-25 in Zaragoza (Spain). The EHEC 2005 is organized by the Spanish Hydrogen Association (AẽH) together with the Institute for Diversification and Saving of Energy of the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade (IDAE), the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science, and the Government of Aragon.
The Conference takes place at a crucial moment for the hydrogen sector in which applications have to be tested in everyday circumstances. Europe has to show its expertise and knowledge and demonstrate European and local political commitment to contribute to the development of a hydrogen infrastructure.
The conference offers an opportunity for researchers and technicians to explain their latest innovations on hydrogen and fuel cells technologies and offers companies the possibility to present their activities, products, services and strategies. A commercial exhibition, a hydrogen and/or fuel cell vehicle demonstration as well as a brokerage event are scheduled.
EHA’s mission is to foster the development of hydrogen technologies and their utilisation in industrial, commercial, consumer applications and promote the role of hydrogen in the energy field in Europe. The Association’s membership structure of private industry and national organisations facilitates widespread dissemination and promotion activities. The EHA believes that hydrogen could offer a complete new perspective to the way energy is used today.
“The European Hydrogen Energy Conference is a major event, gathering key experts to discuss main issues in the field”, states Lars Sjunnesson, Chairman of EHA. “Collaboration with national member associations is critical to promote hydrogen technologies and increase hydrogen visibility in everyday life. EHA supported the first edition of the European Hydrogen Energy Conference organized by the French Hydrogen Association in Grenoble in September 2003 and is pleased to support the Second European Hydrogen Energy Conference this year in Zaragoza.“
