The DWV Expert Commission performing energy

The primary concern of the DWV Expert Commission “performing energy” is advancing the development of Power-to-Fuel technology. Its aim is to help shape the political framework on national and European levels for the prompt introduction of “green hydrogen” and so pave the way for fuels with minimal greenhouse gas emissions. In so doing the Expert Commission is laying the foundations for an integrated and efficient transformation of transportation fuel.

Spokesperson of the Expert Commission:  Werner Diwald

… born 12 November 1966 in Essen. Graduated as Technical MBA in Hamburg. 2000 to 2008 Signatory/Project Manager at Uckerwerk Energietechnik GmbH/Enertrag AG. From 2001 Director of ENERTRAG Systemtechnik GmbH. 2008 to 2013 Member of the Board at Enertrag AG, the leading project developers and operators of wind farms and hybrid power stations. Since 2011 Member of the Federal Expert Commission for Energy Policy of the German Economic Council. Since 2013 Director of ENCON.Europe GmbH. Since 2014 Chairman of DWV, since 2015 spokesman of of the Expert Commission performing energy.

 

Deputy spokesperson of the Expert Commission: Oliver Weinmann

… Managing Director of Vattenfall Europe Innovation GmbH. Oliver Weinmann studied Process Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, followed by a doctorate in Solar-Thermal Power Plants with DLR in Cologne. In 1992 he commenced his career at HEW in Hamburg. In 2003 he moved to Vattenfall Europe AG in Berlin and took over the position of Head of Innovation Management. From 2004 to 2007 he was also made Managing Director of Vattenfall Europe Renewables GmbH.
